Take Nick Cannon and Mariah Carey for instance: Weeks before their wedding they went out and got tattoos of each other’s names. Mariah has a small butterfly at the base of her spine with “Mrs. Cannon” in script as the center line of the butterfly. Nick Cannon has “Mariah” tattooed across his entire upper back in giant half-cursive writing.
How about Jay-Z and Beyonce? She tells “Essence” said that she and Jay have the Roman numeral ‘4′ tattooed on their ring fingers. She says it’s to signify their vows so that if and when they take off their bands a mark of some type is still there. The number four is supposed to be particular to the couple because her birthday is September 4, his birthday is December 4, and their wedding anniversary is April 4.

Beyonce is taking off time for a 2009 tour in support of her upcoming third solo album, due Nov. 18 via Music World/Columbia. She plans to play international dates next spring, followed by a North American tour in early next summer.
The present untitled new album will be preceded by two singles: “If I Were a Boy” and “Single Ladies.” Videos for both songs were under the direction of Jake Nava and was filmed in Harlem. They will begin to hit U.S. radio and video airways sometime around Oct. 14.
The artist will also perform one of the new singles on Nov. 6 as a part of the MTV Europe Music Awards in Liverpool, England.
Also in the works, is a Beyonce AOL Session and a deluxe edition of the album, both due Nov. 18 as well, featuring as-yet-unannounced bonus tracks.
“I have worked on this album for close to one year,” Beyonce says on her Web site. “It is the most time I have spent on any project since my first records as a member of Destiny’s Child when I was 15 years old. I have recorded over 70 songs and have created a sound that reveals all of me.”

Swagger Like Us R & B Edition ?
Now although i do think this would be really hotttttt … i dont know how they could leave out Trey Songz, he also did a verse on swagger like us already, and that verse needs to be blended in there somewhere some how. Honestly I think Trey has more swag then all of these artists and what about Justin Timberlake??? I know he will rock out, and he has plenty swag. I mean if you dont agree and you think some of these guys really deserve there slot lets just look at their women lol. Justin has Jessica Beal and Usher has…. well he has Tameka lol. And what about throwing a female R & B artist on there maybe rihanna, beyonce or keri hilson ? … I guess we will see what happens, but remember where you heard this rumor break first …

Beyonce has been looking for an role to set herself up as a legitimate actress – and she may just have landed it. The platinum selling singer is VERY CLOSE to signing on to play the title character in Disney’s big budget remake of the movie AIDA.
Aida is a musical drama in two acts based on Giuseppe Verdi’s Italian-language opera by the same name, which is in turn based on a story by Auguste Mariette. The musical was produced by Hyperion Theatricals, a unit within Disney Theatrical, with music by Elton John, lyrics by Tim Rice, and book by Linda Woolverton, Robert Falls, and David Henry Hwang.
In the story, a Nubian princess is captured by an Egyptian captain, Radames. He soon falls in love with her and saves her from a life of hard labor and instead gives her as a handmaiden to the Egyptian princess Amneris, his future bride. Set against a backdrop of loyalty, betrayal, and forbidden love, Aida is the story of three people who are forced to make difficult choices that will alter history forever.
On a personal note i think ths is the perfect follow up for dream-girls. This is a role in which I feel will distinguish her as two different brands/entities; the actor from the singer. Dreamgirls was a terrific movie, but it seemed to me like she wasn’t acting too much; she was being herself lol. The point of acting is plying roles that are way beyond your character, and making it believable. I’m not the biggest beyonce fan, but I believe this is the right move for her….

lemme run some facts down about Jay – Z
1. Jay – Z has had six consecutive albums make number 1 debuts on The Billboard Hot 100 Pop Charts.
2. Since his album Hard Knock Life/ Volume 2, every Jay-Z solo album has gone at least double platinum.
3. Jay-Z’s the Blueprint 2 has sold a total of 3 million copies.
4. In 2003 he opened sports bar called 40/40 Club.
Do i need to continue?
In any case, I think that since he married Bey their money tripled, and if Jay has a supposed 1 billion in my bank account who the hell cares about being famous.
50, I think you need to concentrate on Ciara and worry about your own celeb status, cause it look like your falling down the ladder.
